July is almost at a close already, and in Montana that means the heat is good and set it. Fires are going and the smoke has started to waft into our valley. The plants in the backyard aren't enjoying the heat either, as my red leaf lettuce has all but shriveled into nothing. But, some of the plants are doing really well! I have peas like crazy, lots of baby tomatoes, ripening huckleberries, zucchini, and ripening raspberries! I can't wait for a few things to get completely ripe so I can eat them...although I have been enjoying my peas, a lot. :)
