Growing up, my parents had a porcelain cat. They actually have two - one in a curled up sleeping position, and one in a pouncing position that looks more like a Siamese cat, with piercing blue glass eyes.
The last time we were home visiting, my fiance made note of the porcelain cat, and Mom told him that when we lived in North Carolina they had a friend who thought it was real! So when I came across this cat on Etsy...I had to put it in my favorites and wish someone would buy it for me :)

Etsy Weekends - Little Earrings

A few years back, I lost my everyday earrings. Well, I lost one of my everyday earrings. It was somewhere in the house, so for several weeks, I had to carefully consider my earring choices, until Matt bought me a new pair of everyday earrings. The new ones were perfect and beautiful, and within a week I found the original pair - which had been my everyday earrings for 13 years or more. I love both of my easy choices, but now I keep my eyes open for other everyday earrings so that I can have even more options! Here are a couple that might fit the bill for me.

Etsy Weekends - Teacher Stuff

Someday I hope to be a teacher. I actually have my teaching certificate and look forward to running my own classroom someday, but I'll have to wait for opportunities to open up where we live. I think, as a teacher, I would prefer gifts the reflect my preferences - but as I wander about on Etsy, I can't help but see all the nifty apple items that would make excellent teacher gifts.
